Content removal is time consuming and while I respect consent and I delete if asked, I don’t want to waste too much time on that.

Q: Why I keep seeing the message “Unable to decrypt: The sender’s session has not sent us the keys for this message” when I open old private chats?

A: You changed your device or uninstalled and installed the app again. All the private conversations in this app are end-to-end encrypted.

It means that just you and the person you are chatting with can read them. To do that your app use a special encryption key that you must save in a safe place and use again if you change your device or uninstall the app. If you don’t do it you will lose all your private conversations chat history.

To save it just go to Settings, Recovery and Change Recovery Key. Save it and use it again when you need.
